The software uses a motion control detection sensor that automatically startup your web camera when motion is detected in the room. The motion sensor can trigger a variety of actions, including email sending, movie saving, FTP uploading, sound alarm, or a launch of any specified application. In addition to the motion sensor, the program has a time lapse option for the camera also. It allows you to record video at specified time intervals. This software is compatible with most USB-based or FireWire (IEEE 1394) video devices, including capture cards, webcams, camcorders. It can also work with IP Network cameras.
