I had no problem connecting my windows computer to Roku in the past for screen mirroring, but now all of a sudden I cannot connect to tv. I've tried this many times and I rebooted computer, unplugged router and Roku both to let them both reset, still get message cannot onnect to device. Any suggestions to fix this issue?

What exactly is happening, are you not seeing your Roku in your connect options? Are you not getting the message on TV to "allow" computer to connect?

I can see the Roku name when I click connect, but its like it just times out. This was working before, suddenly now its not working. I dont get the allow message popup on tv where its even finding it through Roku.

Try these steps.

First make sure your wifi is set on in network and internet settings.

Next go into status and click properties button on right.

Next under network profile make sure its set to private and not public.

Now reboot your computer and try again to connect screen to Roku.

If that doesnt work I would try disabling firewall but I never had to do that with my windows computer so you shouldnt have to either.

On my windows computer the reboot is actually required also otherwise it wont connect and I never get that "allow" option on the tv. That update should be automatically when changing network but I still had to reboot, but once you do that its fine
