Posted by Guest - Restore Iphone To Factory Setting With No Password : Hi I forgot my passcode but I need to restore the iphone to factory settings even though I dont have the passcode. How do I get to this?

Guest Says: You can do this in DFU mode by doing the following: Press home and power button and just hold until you get the icon telling you to plug into computer. Plug it into computer and in itunes just follow the instructions at that point.

Guest Says: Also be aware that this is to restore if you dont know the passcode to the phone, so everything gets wiped out and everything on the phone will be gone. You will also need your icloud password to do this. If you dont know the icloud password then you wont be able to set an iphone back to factory.
