Posted by Guest - Mac - Capture Screenshot Using Windows Keyboard :
Ok I have a mac mini computer but I connected my own monitor to it and my own keyboard and mouse to it.  I didn't want to buy a new keyboard since I had an extra flat panel monitor and new keyboard laying around already. Everything works fine.

I'm stumped with getting a screen capture to work on the mac! How do I do this as all the help says a keyboard that I dont have so there is no keys they say to use, its a windows keyboard!

This is actually pretty easy to do, just assume the windows key is your control or command key.  For example to get a screenshot just do windows key, shift key, and 4 (dollar sign) and a screenshot is automatically put on your desktop as a png image.

Actually windows shift 4 will let you draw a square around your screenshot.  windows key , shift, 3 put its automatically to the desktop on the mac
