Hi, how can i update the date part of a timestamp without changing the part time and microsecond ?
I have
2010-02-09-15.42.24.000000
And changing only the date from 9 to 16 to have
2010-02-16-15.42.24.000000

Just hard code the timestamp section on to the end o fhte date.

You can do it with the following DFSORT control statements:

   OPTION COPY
   INREC OVERLAY=(1:C'2010-02-16')

Or if you want to use the current date:

   OPTION COPY
   INREC OVERLAY=(1:DATE=(4MD-))
