Main Question - Posted From Betsy:
I just got an iPhone.  Now I would like to remove the music/podcasts from my iPod but not effect the iPhone at all (am going to give the iPod away).  How can I do this?

Guest Says:
The easiest thing to do is just restore the ipod back to factory settings, that will wipe it clean and be just like new.  To do that just connect to you pc, open itunes, and you should see your iPod appear in the summary tab in itunes. Click the restore option.
