i just bought a lap top from a pawn shop its a dell inspiron 6000 i cant get in to this computer from what i was told i need the original owners pass word to get in befor i can even hook up wireless router is there any way i can go to get in how can i delete every thing in the hard drive and re down load windows xp pro can any one help

So you bought it with XP pro on it or XP home? If its pro then you have to have a password. Otherwise if you have an xp home CD you might be able to put that in and bootup to install it over it, but I haven't tried that
