  Main Question - Posted From navinkumar,nk:
Let's the data comes like this 279493 24009 0 17 745949 735794 now my output should look like this 2794.93 240.09 0 .17 7459.49 7357.94 that means 0 should look as it is.

You just do outrec (1,4, '.', etc) for example to put a hard coded period in your outrec output, then just continue and put as many hard coded values in your want...

It's not clear if you're trying to do some kind of parsing on the numbers, or they are always in the fixed positions you show.  Assuming they are in fixed positions, here's an example of a DFSORT job that would give you what you asked for:

//S1 EXEC PGM=SORT
//SYSOUT DD SYSOUT=*
//SORTIN DD *
279493 24009 0 17 745949 735794
/*
//SORTOUT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSIN DD *
  OPTION COPY
  INREC BUILD=(1,6,ZD,EDIT=(TTTT.TT),X,
    8,5,ZD,EDIT=(TTT.TT),X,
    14,1,X,
    16,2,ZD,EDIT=(.TT),X,
    19,6,ZD,EDIT=(TTTT.TT),X,
    26,6,ZD,EDIT=(TTTT.TT))
/*

If you actually want to parse the values using a blank as a delimiter, you could use DFSORT's PARSE function before you edit the values.

If you're not familiar with DFSORT and DFSORT's ICETOOL, I'd suggest reading through "z/OS DFSORT:  Getting Started".  It's an excellent tutorial, with lots of examples, that will show you how to use DFSORT, DFSORT's ICETOOL and DFSORT Symbols.  You can access it online, along with all of the other DFSORT books, from:
