Main Question - Posted From Guest:
this has to be the most annoying hting microsoft has ever come up with. How do I get rid of that popup window that states "checking for solutions" everytime windows gets an error. You would think with windows 7 they would have gotten rid of or disabled these types of popups but they haven't

R.R. Says:
They might not have gotten rid of the error solution window but you can surely disable this easier today with Windows 7. :-) Click start, then type gpedit.msc in the box and click OK to run it. A window will open, so go to Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates -Systems - Internet Communication Management and then to Internet Communication Settings on the left, just like you would go through explorer. Right click the option that says turn off windows error reporting and that will solve it.
