Main Question - Posted From ESB:
Why is there so much scam? I am still receiving send money scams from Nigeria and I thought this was over. Now they are sending e-mails that are authentic looking asking for your e-mail address and password. I need a good e-mail address where this can be reported to aol.

It's not just aol, ALL email providers get these scams. Basically these scam artists just harvest a bunch of emails, send out as many as possible and hope to get some responses. It doesn't matter if you have aol email, yahoo email, or gmail, they all get these scams. The best thing you can do is just flag it as "spam" on your email so hopefully all others they send go directly into people's spam folders instead of their email inboxes.
