m creating a trigger and i want to display the old values for the statement which is included with that trigger so how to display those values on console as well as the user output

you will have to display them in the cobol program itself, otherwise ask your dba as there may be a way to kick out the trigger output into the db2 message logs, but thats not something a programmer can do as it would need to be in the cobol code.
