Convert Itunes Song Into Mp3 Song?

I want to convert my ITUnes music I purchased into MP3 formats, I want all formats to be the same and right now I have music in aac and mp3 formats both but want all mp3 songs. Can I do this or is that not possible without getting other software to convert the music?

Yes you can do this with itunes, just follow these instructions. First, make sure you have the latest version of itunes. This is a must, earlier versions of itunes would not convert to mp3. Once you purchase a song, and it shows in your itunes music list, then right click the song and choose "create mp3 version". Just like that you're done, and you have it in mp3 format at 192khz.

On my version of itunes to get it to mp3 format you right click it and chose the option that says Convert Selection to MP3. Then its mp3 format, but if its a protected format it will give you a message saying its protected, although I don't know if the protection is on any songs anymore
