My boyfriend and I are trying to change user accounts on his computer and we can't because he doesn't know his son's password and we can't download or do anything because of not knowing the password. I tried to put in the Operating System Disc to erase everything and start fresh but it keeps asking for his son's password and we don't know it and we can't get it. How can I start the whole computer over from scratch? I want to delete everything on this computer and start all over again as if we just bought it. Can you help me, PLEASE?

You should be able to boot to your c prompt or most computers have options now on the bootup menu to just get a prompt like you used to get with the bootup dos disks. Get to a prompt and do a format to wipe out the hard drive. I believe also if you have reinstall from CD setup, then you can just install a new system right over it, haven't tried it but I think thats an option now, although formatting and starting new is always the best way to get rid of all the old OS setup.
