Db2 Delete Duplicate Rows In Table

Iphone Apps

Main Question - Posted From Guest:
we have duplicate rows in db2 tables and all the fields are the same, how can we delete the duplicate rows but leave one of the rows in the table. I don't want all of the rows deleted.

Guest Says:
Well thats a good reason to always have a db2 timestamp on the db2 table for the last time the row was updated or row was created. This way you can always control stuff like this. I think I would unload the table and remove them out of a flat file, then reload. Then again you can always write a program to roll through the data and delete db2 rows as needed, but I would surely change the table and add a timestamp.
