Comdlg32.dll Error Eaccessviolation

I'm writing a software program and the code keeps giving me an error on comdlg32.dll and it says eaccessviolation along with some other details (I cant put a screenshot on here anywhere). It occurs when I cancel the Topendialogue component and dont choose anything, nothing even occurs and the eaccessviolation message pops up. What is causing this?

You didn't say what code you were using for this component, but Topendialogue is just a wrapper over your windows api's of course. I've seen this occur before and it always seems to be more of a system related error or a settings related error in your software development kit. You may just want to do a wrapper over it yourself like Try-Except so that no error message is displayed, as that error does not hurt anything other then popup a message on the comdlg32.
