Main Question - Posted From eve:
I am getting numerous emails (started just recently) from my own address that I've never sent. How can it happen and what to do to prevent it? I can't block it, because occasionally I need it myself.

Guest Says:
Check your sent mail and see if there is anything there. If not then it wasn't sent from your email box.

I have an email that tells me it is AOL and wants info from me. I do know bwtter than to reply to it, but do you want me to send it to you? if so, how?

Guest Says:
Emails are not really sent from "your own email address" even though it looks like they are.  Those are viruses on OTHER peoples computers that reads their address book and randomly chooses one of the email addresses to place as the "sender".  There is nothing you can do about it, no one has your email password or email etc, and the virus isn't on your computer.
