How can I prevent my IP or change my IP so that browsing the web with either not show the ip address or show a separate diff ip adddress? Is there software that can block this?

No matter what anyone tells you, you cannot block your IP address or change it. Now there are browsers (like safari) that will limit how much is sent to websites, but it has nothing to do with the fact your ISP service logs your IP and everywhere you go. There is no way around it, as that has nothing to do with your computer or what you run or store on your computer, the ISP knows your IP and logs everything related to this. You cannot avoid this no matter what you do on your copmuter. However some of the URL and browser pages you visit may not get the info if your browser has blocks in there for this like safari does, just remember that has nothing to do with your ISP knowing your IP and knowing exactly who you are.

this is correct, your IP address is something that you don't control, your ISP controls it. No matter what you do to your computer, it has no effect on what IP address your ISP service links to you.
