Deletings Song From Ipod Nano

I just got an Ipod 8GB Nano and I also have a 1GB Ipod Shuffle. I want to delete songs from my Nano but am afraid that I in turn will delete them from the Shuffle. How can I do this without affecting the other?

Just connect your nano and choose owners ipod, so you are looking at the songs on the nano then.... highlight any songs on the right and press delete, that will remove them from the nano only. When you connect the shuffle if you have auto sync turned on then it will sync up with your songs in itnues but I usually just keep autosync off and do everything i want manually, I liket hat better.
