What should I do if I have accidently deleted a folder of photographs?

Is it still in your recycle bin? Check that as many don't bother to empty the recycle bin and anything you delete can be retrieved there. If you deleted files and then emptied your recycle bin after that, then your only hope is to have it on a backup (which you should copy these to thumb drives as backups, this is way easy now that 8 gig thumb drives are as cheap as $20 and hold tons of files), or try an undelete shareware program to see if you can recover the files. There are many shareware programs that do this, the more you use your computer the less chance of recovery as the space on your hard drive gets shuffled around and overlayed.
