When I first got my IPod nano and when i plugged it into my computer itunes appeared. But nothing else was there. I clicked on my Ipod twice and cant change the neame of it. An every time i click on the tab on itunes which is supposed to be where my name is says IPOD. If i click it nothing happens. It doesnt show my settings like the above pictures. What DO I Do?!?!?!

So you have no music on it? At first you use the itunes window and choose file then add music from directory, etc... and that builds you music directory in itunes. You can then just sync your directory with your ipod and they will be the same, its pretty easy. You need some mp3 or aac files to add (mp3 are a standard open music format that most prefer, aac files are those files types that are bought in itunes, you can use eihter or both but I try to keep all mine mp3 just so they are the same types for all my music but it doesn't really matter). You can also take your old CD's that you have laying around and rip the music to mp3 on your computer and add to itunes (don't buy any songs that you already have as you can make mp3 files easily out of any old CDs)
