my friend and i are attempting to video chat. i have the latest version of AIM and an HP laptop webcam, and she has iChat. when we try to connect, it tells her that there is a connection error. my webcam is working on my end, i can see myself in the video chat window, but she can't see me and i can't see her. i'm connected to the internet via a Sprint USB aircard...not sure if that is pertinent information. i've tried turning off my firewall with no luck and i'm starting to get really frustrated. any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

If her webcam won't connect and she is getting the error message, then the problem is on her side. It doesn't matter what you do or how you are connected, or even if your webcam works, its a problem on her side and it won't work until she fixes whatever the issue is. As a side note, by the way does ichat work with AIM? I didn't know it did but thats pretty cool if it does but I've never tried those 2 together (I'm not saying thats an issue, just pointing out thats kind of cool :-)
