What does it mean when you say "I have something different" ... what exactly different do you have? The deleting of songs should be the ssame across any ipod, whether nano, iphone, shuffle, its all the same. I assume you are referring to the picture examples showing here?

ok, this deleting is not so important as it's my new problem. when i want to put music on iPod than itunes says "the iPod cannot be scyned. The required disk cannot be found." what does that mean? Please help me!
P.s. I'm a 13 years old boy and i i'm from croatia, i learn english only in school so that is the reason why my english is not so good

If you don't care about the music on your ipod, meaning you have it all on your pc and can simply reload it at any time, then I would try and restore your ipod first. You can restore it by going to your summary tab on itunes and using the restore option, it will reset the ipod software back to factory settings and will also wipe out any songs you have on the ipod now. If there is any problem with the ipod software itself then the restore will simply reload and reset it.

hey, realy thank for the answer, you realy helped me, i think that it will be good now but first restoring must befinished. so i have one more question. i did what you said but that restoring is not finished yet, i did what you said one hour ago and it isn't finished yet. does that restoreing takes that much time?
Guest Says:
restoring of ipod lasts one and a half day and it's not finished yet. is that normal?
Guest Says:
Thats not normal, sounds like something may be wrong with your ipod or you may have some type of malware or spyware. Follow the instructions on this page: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304996
