Where are you getting your music from? You mean a CD? You have to have the music on your pc for starters, I don't know of any way to convert straight from a music CD to the Ipod. You can however rip the CD to MP3 files, windows media player or winamp will do that for you no problem. Then just copy the Mp3 files to your ipod. IMO everyone should rip their music CD's to MP3 anyways even if they don't copy them to the Ipod, as if your CD goes bad then your music is lost. Rip the CDs to MP3 and then keep backups on a thumb drive or using xdrive.com to upload, that way you will never lose them. (Xdrive has 5 gig of free storage online).
