i am trying 2 put music on it do i need itunes 2 do it as i have put music on 2 it but it will not play what am i doing wrong somebody please help me

Yes, you have to use Itunes to load music on the ipod. (Doesnt matter which ipod, any of them require itunes to load the music). Itunes is free so its not a big deal (plus you want itunes anyways, its a very good program). You can download it from this site: http://www.apple.com/itunes/

how do i delete songs from i pod but i accidentaly already deleted them from i tunes =/

It doesn't matter if you delete them from ITunes. The songs only need to be listed on ITunes if you are copying music to the ipod, deleting can always be done by choosing the ipod link on the left side of the itunes window.
