Main Question - Posted From Guest:
Since AOL has offered their free ISP yet, has anyone tried it? Any issues?

It's exactly the same as what it was previously? (I had an aol account before, went back to it after they offered it free, and its really the same thing without any limitations. You just sign up for a screen name on their site and then download their software and its just like before, email, IM, chatrooms, etc.... no differences).

No problems hear

Its only free if you already have a cable or dsl connection (or wifi connection). If you are on dialup then you still have to pay a monthly fee to use aol.

The radio@aol feature, which i think is the best thing, is not as good quality with the free. from what I have read on other messageboards, they are upgrading this and the cd quality sound will return after the upgrade.

I was able to get my old screen name back, which is kidn of nice. You don't have to sign up for a new screen name if you had an old aol screen name its worth checking first to see first.
